Full Job Description
What Will You Do?

As a Risk Management Consultant, you will provide risk management support through education, training and development of resources. You will serve as a resource regarding insurance and risk management exposures, loss trends and industry regulations and standards. You will create and deliver training programs and risk management resources for Federated Risk Consultants, clients and others.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Seek and maintain an advanced understanding of commercial property and casualty risk management and safety exposures and controls.
  • Serve as a risk management subject matter expert for Federated personnel, Leadership, policyholders, associations, and special interest groups. This includes, but is not limited to, analyzing loss information of business types and groups; serving on internal teams as needed to identify risk management issues; and provide relevant consultation and white-paper support.
  • Create and maintain risk management materials and programs used with policyholders, associations, and within Federated. Ensures the risk management-related accuracy of content for articles, Intranet and Internet documentation, publications, and presentations that are distributed to policyholders, associations, and/or Federated personnel.
  • Design tools, processes, and procedures to support Field Services in highly technical areas. Develops and facilitates specialized training and seminars for Risk Consultants and Regional Risk Managers.
  • Provide consulting to Risk Consultants, policyholders, and prospects regarding regulations and complex industry issues.
  • Assist with quality audits for Risk Consultants and survey vendors to ensure that procedures, priorities, and professional service expectations are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Four-year degree.
  • Minimum of three years' work experience demonstrating understanding and familiarity with loss exposures, risk management processes, industry regulations and safety/health standards preferred.
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation or equivalent preferred.
  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and training skills.
  • An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and personnel information.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation required.

Pay range is $90,400 - $137,500. Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information can be discussed with a member of the Recruiting team.
