Position Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care and a multidisciplinary approach to rheumatologic conditions including gout, lupus, osteoarthritis, Sjogren's Syndrome, scleroderma, vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, autoimmune connective tissue disease and other disorders of the musculoskeletal system based on evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues in other specialties to provide multidisciplinary, accessible and comprehensive care
  • Provide direct patient care in an inpatient and outpatient setting
  • Encouraged involvement in medical education through teaching/mentoring medical residents and students as Mount Sinai Medical Center is an academic institution


Qualifications
  • BE/BC with excellent clinical training
  • Florida Medical license- active
  • Open to both new graduates and experienced rheumatologists
  • Adaptable colleague interested in growing the rheumatology department and becoming active in the community
  • Those with strong interest working in an academic setting are encouraged to apply
