Job Summary
The RFQ and Storage Data Analyst at Cyient, Inc. will be responsible for analyzing Request for Quotation (RFQ) data and storage-related information to identify trends, optimize processes, and support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and proficiency in data management and visualization.
Job Responsibilities
* Collect, clean, and analyze RFQ data from various sources to identify cost drivers, supplier performance, and negotiation opportunities.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key RFQ metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
* Analyze storage utilization, inventory levels, and logistics data to identify inefficiencies and propose optimization strategies.
* Perform root cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement solutions to improve data quality.
* Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, and engineering teams to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
* Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven models for forecasting and scenario planning related to RFQs and storage.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within RFQ and storage management through data analysis.
* Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics and supply chain management.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
* 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Strong understanding of RFQ processes and supply chain principles.
* Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
