Responsibilities- Participate in the design and development of RF, analog, and mixed-signal circuits in advanced CMOS technologies
- Support transistor-level design and simulation of RF front-end and analog building blocks such as LNAs, PAs, mixers, amplifiers, oscillators, bias circuits, filters, and clocking circuits
- Perform circuit simulations, behavioral modeling, and performance analysis using Cadence, Matlab, and related tools
- Assist with EM simulation, passive component modeling, packaging effects, ESD considerations, and supply isolation analysis
- Collaborate with layout engineers and participate in post-layout verification and analysis
- Work with system engineers to understand product requirements and derive circuit-level specifications
- Support silicon bring-up, lab validation, characterization, debugging, and performance optimization using standard RF lab equipment
- Collaborate with digital, firmware, and test engineering teams on system integration and production test development
- Document design work and present technical results to the engineering team
Minimum Qualifications- MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Specialization or research focus in RFIC, analog, mixed-signal IC design, wireless communications, or related areas
- Strong understanding of RF CMOS fundamentals and analog/mixed-signal circuit design principles
- Familiarity with RF front-end circuits such as LNAs, mixers, PAs, oscillators, filters, PLL/LO generation, amplifiers, or bias circuits
- Experience with circuit simulation and IC design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, EM simulators, Matlab, Verilog-A, or similar
- Understanding of IC layout concepts, verification flow, and post-layout analysis
- Knowledgeable in programming languages like Python and C++
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications- Internship or research experience in wireless transceiver or RFIC development
- Exposure to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or other wireless communication systems
- Hands-on lab experience with RF measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, or oscilloscopes
- Familiarity with RF system impairments and calibration techniques
