This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
This role is part of the New Glenn business unit, Blue Origin's New Glenn Test group is seeking a RF Test Engineer. In this role you will work with a hard-working team of RF hardware and software engineers designing equipment for verifying and validating system performance for passive and active RF electronics. In this role you'll interface with mechanical design, systems, integration, and software engineering disciplines throughout the entire product lifecycle from conception to flight ready hardware.

Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:- Develop and implement analog, digital, and power circuits to be used in various RF systems products including software-defined radios, solid-state power amplifiers, and low noise amplifiers.
- Own the full product lifecycle from concept and design for test equipment supporting functional and environmental testing of the flight units.
- Create and review manufacturing documents, including schematics, layouts, and bills of materials.
- Support developing comprehensive test plans and procedures that cover all functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute test procedures in a laboratory setting to verify that flight units meet all specified requirements and support root-cause analysis on discrepancies.
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
- Experience developing high-speed mixed-signal circuits, encompassing part selection, analysis, simulation, laboratory testing, and troubleshooting preferably for aerospace applications.
- Knowledge of signal and power integrity, grounding topologies and general equipment layout principles and best practices for production applications.
- Experience developing and testing complex electronic systems combining hardware, firmware, and software.
Preferred Qualifications:- Extensive experience in prototype development, debug, and test in a lab environment. Experience testing RF hardware is a plus.
Base Pay Range for:
WA applicants is $130,706.00 - $182,987.70
