Qualifications
Degree or certification and minimum 3 years working knowledge of Radio Communications including HF, VHF, UHF and Trunk radio Systems preferred. Portable, Mobiles, repeaters, Base Stations. Working knowledge of Integrated Radio Communications Console Systems experience preferred. Working Experience with RF Communications Systems Design.
Working Experience with RF Interference Troubleshooting preferred.
Working knowledge of Radio-Telephony systems.

Vendor Management skills related to Radio Communication Vendors preferred. FCC general Radio License preferred, but not required. Strong Project Management Skills including RFI, RFP and RFQ preferred. Related project management software systems preferred. Knowledge with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, Project and Power Point).

Essential Responsibilities:
• Monitor, manage, and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
• Provide on-site, and on-call 7x24x365 support, as needed.
• Coordinate activities with internal/external technology owners/service providers.
• Plan and implement life cycle management of software and hardware.
• Keep abreast of industry and technology trends.
