What's unique about this role?

Review Project Managers are attorneys with extensive document review project management experience who serve as a central point of contact with counsel, client and internal Lighthouse stakeholders on projects requiring managed review. Review Project Managers advise on review workflow strategy and execution - focusing on the optimization of workflows and incorporation of appropriate technology to improve the speed and accuracy of any eyes-on review. The Review Project Manager provides oversight and management of work conducted by review team leads and reviewers to ensure quality and timeliness of all deliverables.

This is a dynamic consultative role focused on incorporating a tech-forward approach to drive down review volumes and increase the efficiency and accuracy of review team work product to help our clients drastically reduce spend on linear document review. The position centers on ensuring a high level of execution by contractor review teams, with a proactive consultative approach to develop and improve project workflows.

What will this person do?
  • Implement and execute review plans that meet both Lighthouse standards and project specific requirements.
  • Recommend and drive best practices in review.
  • Communicate directly with counsel, client, internal stakeholders, and staffing partner on substance and progress of review, including daily project status reporting.
  • Assist in development of matter-specific review project plans that address review workflow strategy and optimal application of technology.
  • Establish review quality control measures and manage document review teams to ensure adherence to Lighthouse playbook, execution of throughput goals, and quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate across Lighthouse teams including AI experts and data project managers.
  • Implement technology efficiency drivers for redaction application and privilege logging.
  • Provide client- and case-specific subject matter expertise.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and other related duties as assigned.

  • Three+ years of experience as a document review manager with review provider or law firm
  • Attorney, active and in good standing in any US jurisdiction
  • Ability to lead and motivate diverse contractor attorney teams in completion of review workflows while adhering to established accuracy targets, project timelines, and budget parameters.
  • Self-motivated, with strong sense of ownership and commitment to client satisfaction
  • Knowledge of litigation discovery process and objectives
  • Strong written and oral communication skills suited to a client-facing role, careful attention to detail, and general technical aptitude.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency as an end user in Relativity or comparable platform
  • Experience establishing matter-tailored quality control measures and managing reviews across a variety of discovery matters.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table.
  • Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
  • Duties may require being on call periodically and working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends).

The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.
