The
Revenue Operations Lead is responsible for driving alignment and optimization across the end-to-end revenue lifecycle, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. This role ensures that people, processes, data, and systems are effectively integrated to support predictable revenue growth, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance overall commercial performance.
Serving as a strategic and operational partner, this leader acts as the connective tissue between go-to-market teams, CRM platforms, and performance analytics-translating insights into action and enabling scalable, data-driven decision-making.
This role combines strategic vision with strong execution, leveraging analytics, process design, and systems governance to continuously improve performance and drive operational excellence across the revenue engine.
Note: If this position is filled by a candidate based in Pittsburgh, PA or Charlotte, NC the role will require a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Pipeline Operations- Own and optimize the end to end revenue processes, including opportunity management, forecasting, and booking recognition.
- Establish standardized pipeline definitions, stage criteria, and governance to ensure data consistency and reliability.
- Partner with Sales leadership to improve pipeline quality, deal velocity, and conversion rates.
- Monitor revenue performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions.
Performance Analytics & Reporting- Develop and maintain executive-ready dashboards and reporting (e.g., bookings, win rates, pipeline health, forecast accuracy).
- Conduct recurring and ad hoc analysis to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Ensure a single, trusted source of truth across reporting platforms (e.g., CRM, BI tools).
CRM & Systems Governance- Serve as the business owner for CRM and adjacent revenue systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics, marketing automation).
- Ensure data integrity, field definitions, workflow design, and system adoption.
- Partner with IT and Commercial Excellence teams on system enhancements, integrations, and roadmap planning.
- Lead change management, training, and enablement related to process or system updates.
Process Design & Standardization- Design, document, and continuously improve scalable revenue processes across regions and business units.
- Establish governance models, operating cadences, and performance KPIs.
- Reduce friction and manual effort through automation and process simplification.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and commercial operating standards.
Cross-Functional Partnership- Act as a trusted partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Commercial Excellence leaders.
- Support annual planning, territory and quota design, incentive alignment, and capacity modeling (where applicable).
- Align revenue processes with broader business priorities and growth strategies.
- Influence without authority and drive cross-functional alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or similar roles
- Deep experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting B2B, enterprise, or multi-channel sales organizations
- Familiarity with pricing, incentives/compensation, and forecasting models
- MBA or equivalent experience a plus

The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
