Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000/yearThe OpportunityThe Finance Team is looking for a Revenue Analyst who can demonstrate a commitment to our core values of integrity, teamwork, excellence, client service, and long-term vision. Reporting to our Manager, Financial Reporting, the successful candidate will work within our Finance team to support the revenue processes, financial reporting cycle, analysis of financial information, documentation of process and controls, and work with technology to continue to improve applications and evolve the reporting function.
Duties and Responsibilities- Responsible for managing the front-end requirements of the monthly revenue process which includes client billing set ups, fee schedules and other client changes
- Responsible for day-to-day revenue tasks such as incoming inquiries from clients, other financial institutions, and other members of the firm, closings fees, and other ad-hoc requests
- Manage invoicing of client bills, which includes preparation of analytics, initial review of invoicing, and problem solving any issues
- Manage accounts receivable which includes email inbox, collections, cash receipts and quarterly reconciliations
- Preparation of robust revenue report that supports the monthly accrual of fees and assets under management
- Participate in various projects and tasks related to the revenue function
- Support with the preparation of month-end process, financial and regulatory reporting, and annual audit
- Responsible for documentation of controls, policies, and processes of various areas of the financial and regulatory reporting cycle
Desired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Completed or pursuing a CPA designation preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- 4+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and/or analytics focused finance roles
- Demonstrated strength in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Full cycle accounting experience considered an asset
- Experience working with large datasets is an asset
- Exposure to investment management, asset management, or professional services is an asset
- An innate drive for data quality, governance, and usability
- Naturally curious and analytical; asks "why" and "what's next"
- Able to synthesize complexity into clear, compelling narratives
- Confident partnering with senior stakeholders while maintaining analytical independence
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and a fast-evolving environment
- Result focused, outcome-driven, and proactive
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
