Qualifications

• 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, focusing on billing operations and revenue accounting.
• Active CPA certification required.
• Proven ability to automate and streamline processes through system implementations or AI tooling.
• Solid understanding of ASC 606 and US GAAP revenue principles, especially for consumption-based models.
• Experience with billing and payment systems, especially Stripe.
• Strong data fluency with the ability to work with large datasets; SQL skills are a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills for clear explanations of financial discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end billing operations, including invoice generation and cash application.
• Support the order-to-cash cycle by ensuring accurate billing for contracts and amendments.
• Reconcile customer credit consumption and prepaid balances across multiple systems.
• Maintain accurate billing data and create process documentation for scalability.
• Contribute to the automation of billing workflows using modern tools and AI.
• Resolve customer billing inquiries professionally through a ticketing system.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Engineering to address billing discrepancies.
