Full Job Description

The Retirement Plan Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Retirement Plan Advisors team. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive sales and service support, from prospecting and building compelling new business presentations to ensuring seamless client onboarding and ongoing service. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can understand plan investments, fees, and design.

Howyoullspend your time:

  • Prepare detailed analyses and proposals for prospective clients by gathering and interpreting plan sponsor investment and current fee data to create pricing, profitability, and benchmarking comparisons.
  • You will provide administrative support, includingactivities with third-party recordkeepers,the distribution of recurring plan investment reviews,andassistingin resolving client requests.
  • Responsible for the overall customer experience of the virtual education websites; ensuring ease of use and access, up-to-date information, and branding.
  • You will analyze target markets andidentifypotential new business opportunities, using tools such as FreeERISA,Larkspur, providing constructive feedback to sales team.
  • Maintains benchmarking software (FI360) by reviewing, updating, and inputting competitor performance and fee information.
  • You will assistin fee processing, invoice creation/distribution, andtimelycollection of advisory fees for Retirement Plan Services account relationships.
  • Provides timely updates and maintains accurate information in the customer relationship management (CRM) system, including pipeline tracking and referral activity.
  • Supports meeting preparation, sales events, travel, and expense reimbursements as needed.
  • You will helponboard new Advisors / retirement staff and updates onboarding materials and handbook for training where applicable.
  • You will perform other duties as assigned.

  • You show an understanding of financial services products, particularly related to retirement plans and investment products and services.

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills that result inestablishingand maintaining good relations with internal and external customers throughout the entire sales process.
  • You have ability to work alone to get the job done as well as with a team to meet deadlines.

Compensation Ranges:

US Employees in California, Washington DC, New Jersey, and New York:

$69,920 - $109,460

US Employees in Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin:

$63,830 - $100,210

US Employees in all other states not listed above:

$57,760 - $90,960
