Your role

Are you passionate about influencing client stakeholders? Do you enjoy problem-solving and using negotiation skills? We are looking for someone like you to:
• deliver a full suite of retirement plan consulting services, including fiduciary investment advice, investment reporting, plan provider search support, fee benchmarking, and comprehensive annual reviews, while providing senior-level ownership of complex client relationships
• provide subject-matter expertise throughout the sales process and deliver advice using a consistent, documented service model, serving as a resource and escalation point for colleagues and partners
• lead annual account and quarterly investment reviews, overseeing review quality and ensuring fiduciary documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with each client's Investment Policy Statement
• partner with plan providers to resolve plan-level issues, evaluate plan features, and manage escalations to ensure a smooth operational experience
• evaluate participant education programs and recommend strategies to increase engagement, participation, and retirement readiness-guiding education strategy and mentoring others in delivery, while delivering live or virtual education as needed
• drive client satisfaction, retention, and expansion by identifying cross-sell opportunities within Workplace Wealth Solutions and influencing growth strategy across assigned relationships
• develop a deep understanding of each client's business, organizational structure, and industry to shape proactive, strategic recommendations and anticipate complex client needs
• collaborate with Financial Advisors supporting retirement plan relationships to ensure a unified and seamless client experience, providing leadership across cross-functional partners

You'll join the Workplace Wealth Solutions (WWS) Retirement Plan Services team in Weehawken, NJ, one of the key growth engines within Global Wealth Management. WWS is a leading provider of retirement, equity compensation, and financial wellness solutions for companies and their employees, offering education and guidance that help drive financial success.

Your expertise
• Ideally, 6+ years in an institutional, client-facing role at a financial services firm or within a retirement plan consulting environment
• advanced knowledge of investment concepts, fiduciary standards, and retirement plan operations (plan design, payroll integrations, compliance testing, disclosures, etc.)
• demonstrated relationship-management strength with the ability to influence senior client stakeholders
• proven ability to mentor and guide junior professionals
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• strong consultative, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
• FINRA Series 7 and 66
• Chartered Retirement Plan Specialist and/or Investment Management Essentials certificate (or ability to obtain within 120 days)

Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 140000 - max USD 180000 /annum

The expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
