OverviewThe RPS Advisor is responsible for administering and servicing a book of retirement plan business consisting primarily of qualified plans that fall under ERISA guidelines. Additionally, this role is responsible for generating new or additional retirement plan-based revenue.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $77,900 - $153,000 per year plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Key Accountabilities:
Manage a portfolio of client relationships:
- Act as primary fiduciary and administrator for a portfolio of retirement plan accounts working with appropriate support teams to ensure the execution of day-to-day administration of accounts is happening appropriately.
- Proactively contact clients keeping them abreast of any changes within the ERISA world that may affect their plan and the retirement success of their participants.
- Educate, recommend, monitor and assist in documenting the Fiduciary Responsibilities of Plan Sponsor.
- Assist with plan design suggestions to ensure the client has a retirement plan that works for their employees.
Investment Oversight and Participant Education:
- Develop and deliver content for education/enrollment meetings for plan participants. These meetings are held in group, one-to-one, in-person and virtual formats
- Recommend, monitor, and review investments of the plan and monitor vs. the Investment Policy Statement
Assist in increasing revenue for both RPS and other Wealth Group Lines of Business
- Foster productive relationships with business partners in Consumer and Commercial.
- Work closely with Commercial Lenders and the Wealth Group to develop and expand wallet share with existing wealth relationships.
- Enhance brand management and develop outside centers of influence for referral opportunities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Years of Experience: Varies based upon level. Typical required years of experience by level are: RPS Advisor (5+ years), RPS Sr Advisor (7 + years)
- Certifications: RPS Administrator II and Sr. levels must possess an advanced level of related industry certification such as, either the C(k)P, AIF, CPFA, CEBS or CRPS
- PC/Microsoft Office experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative/organizational skills
