Full Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be assigned to projects relating to a large national account. This role will lead field teams ensuring each function manages their deliverables in order to meet the project schedule, scope and budget. The Project Manager will also represent the business unit at regular accountability and cadence meetings and will be responsible for clearly and concisely presenting the status of all open projects to groups of internal and external/customer leadership and stakeholders.

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the overall planning, execution and delivery of projects. This role is the project resource that leads the work performed by contractors and Field Service Technicians in the field. This role requires extensive experience in installations in the field and will use that experience to advise and guide the field teams.
• Defining the project scope of work, roles, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of success
• Contribute to the installation designs for assigned projects
• Developing project estimates and plans to manage the end-to end project execution
• Ensuring requirements are captured accurately and completely, and develop proper sign-off instructions and project closure acceptance documentation
• Manage scope creep and Change Requests
• Creating and maintaining project documentation
• Facilitating day-to-day coordination while adhering to standards and expectations
• Acting as the link between the assigned IT team, project resources and key stakeholders
• Ensuring project closure including completion of lessons learned and required documentation
• Strong cross-business unit/IT communication/Business Accumen.
• Solution, run, control, and report on the quality the installation work performed by the field
• Act as level 2 escalation point for questions/issues coming in from the field teams
• Work directly with Territory Managers to ensure the installation work being performed in the field is in accordance to the defined requirements and installation design guides
• Perform Quality Control tasks of Installations and report on progress/health to the Account Program Manager and the respective Field Territory Managers
• Perform overall management for the work being performed in the field by contractors and Field Service Technicians ensuring the work is being completed as planned
• Review labor resources and cost estimates for field resources and tracks and reports on the field team's profitability for those teams/sites they are managing on a project
• Prepare the site-by-site installation schedule in partnership with the Territory Managers
• Visit sites to assist with Proof of Concepts, Scope Details, and Customer interface meetings at Client's Headquarters

Operational Approach
• Work with Territory Managers to acquire field resources; work with Project Technical Lead to ensure the field teams have the knowledge and skills to perform quality installations
• Hold Field Teams accountable for their quality performance and provide performance feedback to the account team and Field Leadership
• Provide all Installation instructions, requirements documentation and information for the installation to the field teams/contractors at the appropriate time prior to the scheduled installations
• Full understanding and knowledge of installation requirements to lead and assess the quality of performance of the field teams and to provide Level 2 answers/resolution to questions/issues called out from the Territory Managers who are the Level 1 point of contact for field resource teams questions/issues
• Timely and accurate collection and assembly of installation progress/status from field resources and assemble status information to provide to the Account Project Manager for consolidation
• Escalate unsolvable questions/issues to the overall Project Technical Lead
• Offers assistance where needed to maintain efficient workflow.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelors/Associate degree in engineering or other related field or equivalent preferred
• 5-10 years of installation and/or field operations experience, preferable with IP Video and EAS products and solutions
• Overall general company knowledge of products and services
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent analytical / problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills to varying audience groups and levels
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to be assertive when needed
• Demonstrates sensitivity to others' perspectives, with the ability to influence behaviour and effectively de-escalate or redirect challenging situations
• Ability to work in a global environment; Cultural adaptability; Virtual and remote team management ability
• Flexible and responsive to input, capable to work independently and with minimum suppervision
• Advanced computer / MS Windows skills, to include software applications such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and various MS Power Apps
• Ability to travel 10-20%, especially during kick-off and closure/sign-off meeting to meet csutomer and local teams
• Driver's license and personal vehicle preferred

Preferred Qualifications
• PMP Certification preferred
• Knowledge on analytics and design tools such as PowerBi, Smartsheet, AutoCad, PDF editor, etc.
• Field Service experience
