About the role

As our Retail Concept Design Manager – Storytelling, you'll lead the creation of immersive retail concepts that bring the LEGO® brand to life through narrative-driven spatial experiences. In this permanent role, you'll combine strategic thinking, consumer insight, storytelling, and design excellence to develop scalable concepts that inspire play, engagement, and brand affinity across global retail environments. Working across Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Brand, and Innovation teams, you'll translate brand stories into memorable customer journeys and destination experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered retail concept and experience design projects from concept through implementation

  • Built storytelling-led concepts that demonstrate strong customer journey thinking

  • Created high-quality 3D visualizations and spatial design solutions for consumer-facing environments

  • Led concept development across retail, experiential, exhibition, themed environment, or brand experience projects

  • Presented compelling design narratives through clear visualization and concept communication

  • Influenced senior stakeholders during cross-functional creative development initiatives

  • Designed interactive or digital experiences that enhance physical environments

  • Produced graphic communication or environmental branding solutions within branded spaces

Success means becoming a trusted creative partner across Retail and Brand teams while consistently delivering storytelling-led concepts that raise the quality of customer experiences. You'll help shape next-generation store concepts, contribute to experiential retail innovation, and support the growing integration of physical and digital touchpoints. You'll work closely with Global Retail Concepts, Store Design, Visual Merchandising, Brand Development, Consumer & Shopper Insights, Marketing, Innovation teams, regional retail teams, and external creative agencies to influence the future direction of retail experiences

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $107,885.00 - $161,827.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
