Full Job Description
As a member of the Post Ranch Inn and Sierra Mar, the Restaurant Manager will ensure a world class guest experience is delivered by interacting with guests, supporting the management team and leading the service staff, in collaboration with the kitchen team. The Restaurant Manager actively embodies, inspires and teaches skills that will elevate the core values of Post Ranch Inn and Sierra Mar Restaurant, to continue the long-term success of providing unparalleled hospitality. MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have a High School diploma; college or secondary education preferred
  • Must have at least 2 years of Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager experience in a refined dining establishment
  • Proven track record of providing a unique guest experience
  • Continual interest in staying up to date with beverage, wine, and fine dining trends
  • Ability to establish effective partnerships with all departments
  • Either have, or be able to provide a CA Food Handler permit within 30 days of hire
  • Must be 21 years of age
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to use repetitive hand and body motions on a regular basis such as grasping, writing, typing, listening, hearing, and visual acuity
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time on varying ground levels with stairs on a regular basis
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more on a consistent basis and to bend, stoop, stretch, climb and squat frequently to fulfill a range of manual tasks
Pay for the Restaurant Manager position is $90,000 annually. This is a management position This is a full time position
