Sommaire des responsabilités

  • Agir en tant que point focal pour le système de gestion de la sécurité (SGS) pour Bell Textron Canada (conception, assemblage, maintenance, opérations).
  • Diriger et réaliser l'analyse des causes et la mise en place d'actions correctives concernant les problèmes de sécurité.
  • Participer aux discussions et mises-à-jour du cadre règlementaire du SGS.
  • Propriétaire des politiques et procédures reliées au SGS, maintenir, mettre-à-jour et créer au besoin. Approbation des politiques et procédures du SGS de BTI.
  • Interagir avec les autorités de l'air et d'autres manufacturiers d'équipement d'origine (OEM) et fournisseurs dans le parcours du SGS pour garantir une acceptation règlementaire en continue du SGS de Bell (TCAC, FAA, AESA).
  • Fournir du mentorat aux dirigeants de l'entreprise pour promouvoir le développement continu de la culture de sécurité positive.
  • Maintenir, inscrire les enregistrements et fournir de la formation sur le SGS de BTCL aux employés et aux dirigeants.
  • Gérer, coordonner et investiguer les rapports SGS et la base de données.
  • S'assurer de la mise-en-place et du suivi des actions correctives et préventives du SGS.
  • Rapporter les données et les indicateurs clés du SGS au gestionnaire supérieur responsable et à BTI concernant la santé du SGS. Présenter les données et les mises-à-jour du SGS périodiquement aux dirigeants et employés de Bell.
  • Maintenir un comité SGS actif.
  • Fournir des communications sur le SGS.
  • Participer au comité des rapports de difficultés en service.
  • Diriger, faire le suivi et particper aux enquêtes de culture juste (JC) reliées à la sécurité du produit et compléter les rapports d'enquête. Fournir un mentorat et de la formation de culture juste au comité et à la gestion.
  • Exécuter et maintenir la gestion des risques (SRM) ainsi que l'analyse.
  • Participer à l'amélioration continue du SGS.
  • Participer aux rencontres SGS, au conseil de facteurs humains et au conseil consolidé de sécurité.


Exigences du poste / Qualifications

Formation académique

  • Baccalauréat dans une discipline technique scientifique privilégié. Toute expérience pertinente dans l'industrie sera considérée.


Expérience

  • Minimum de huit (8) ans d'expérience dans le secteur aérospatial.
  • Expérience en matière des normes ISO 9001/AS9100 et des règlements TCCA,
  • Formation d'auditeur en chef serait un atout.
  • Expérience avec un fabricant d'équipement d'origine (OEM) ou autre grande organisation manufacturière.
  • Expérience en processus d'action corrective de cause profonde.
  • Expérience des règlements de la navigabilité de Transports Canada et du SGS serait un atout


Compétences spécifiques

  • Connaissance fonctionnelle ou expérience de l'industrie aérospatiale commerciale et militaire dans les domaines de la fabrication, de l'entretient et de l'inspection
  • Connaissance et expérience avec la suite bureautique MS Office
  • Excellent entregent et souci du détail.
  • Démonstration de communication nécessaire dans les deux langues officielles (orale et écrite) pour la haute direction, aux clients ainsi que les autorités de l'air.
  • Expérience démontrée en gestion de risque et analyse de données préféré.

Summary of job description

  • Act as the focal point for the safety management system (SMS) for Bell Textron Canada (design, manufacturing, maintenance, operations).
  • Conduct and lead root cause/corrective action analysis for safety related issues.
  • Participate in the SMS regulatory framework discussions and updates.
  • Ownership of the BTCL SMS related policies and procedures, maintain, update and create as required. Approvals of the BTI SMS policies and procedures.
  • Interact with the air authorities and other OEM's and suppliers in the SMS journey to ensure the continued regulatory acceptance of the Bell SMS (TCCA, FAA, EASA).
  • Provide mentorship to company leadership to promote the continued growth of a positive safety culture.
  • Maintain, record and provide SMS training to BTCL workforce and leadership.
  • Manage, coordinate and investigate the SMS reporting and database.
  • Ensure implementation and follow up of SMS corrective and preventive actions.
  • Report SMS metrics and KPI's to the accountable executive and BTI on the SMS health. Present SMS metrics and updates periodically to Bell leadership and employees.
  • Maintain an active SMS committee.
  • Provide SMS communications.
  • Participate in the service difficulty reporting (SDR) committee.
  • Lead, monitor and participate in SMS just culture (JC) investigations related to product safety and complete investigation reports. Provide JC coaching and training to committee and management.
  • Perform and maintain the safety risk management (SRM) and analysis.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of the SMS.
  • Participate in SMS meetings, human factors council and consolidated safety council


Minimum required qualifications

Education

  • BS in a technical science discipline preferred. Relevant industry experience will be considered.


Experience

  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the aerospace sector.
  • Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 standards and TCCA regulations.
  • Lead auditor certification is an asset.
  • Experience in an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or other large manufacturing organization.
  • Experience in root cause corrective action processes.
  • Experience with Transport Canada and SMS regulations an asset.


Specific Skills

  • Functional knowledge and/or experience of the commercial/military aerospace industry in Manufacturing, Maintenance or Inspection.
  • Knowledge and experience with MS Office suite
  • Excellent interpersonal skills & attention to details.
  • Demonstration communication skills needed (oral and writing) in both official languages for top leadership, customers and air authorities.
  • Demonstrated risk management and data analysis experience preferred.
