Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant experience in application engineering, technical submissions, estimation, or bid management, preferably in high-voltage electrical equipment.
  • Fluency in both French and English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Excel, familiar with ERP, CRM, and bid management tools.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to Canada and the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze specifications to define appropriate technical configuration.
  • Identify, document, and justify deviations from customer specifications.
  • Prepare technical and commercial bids in collaboration with Product Sales Specialists (PSS).
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and planning teams as well as R&D in France to ensure solution feasibility and integration.
  • Support sales teams in technical discussions with clients and undertake regular travel across North America.

Job Description Summary
En tant que Responsable des offres techniques, vous serez l'expert clé du processus de soumission pour nos solutions haute tension, notamment les Live Tank Circuit-Switchers, circuit-breakers et systèmes CABA (Compact Air Insulated Switchgear).
Relevant du Directeur de produit, vous agirez comme le pivot central entre notre usine de La Prairie, notre centre de compétence R&D en France, nos équipes commerciales et les besoins stratégiques de nos clients nord-américains. #LI-ML2

Job Description

Responsabilités principales
  • Analyse et configuration : Analyser les cahiers des charges afin de définir la configuration technique appropriée.
  • Gestion des déviations : Identifier, documenter et justifier les écarts par rapport aux spécifications clients.
  • Chiffrage et offres : Préparer les chiffrages et propositions techniques et commerciales en collaboration avec les Product Sales Specialists (PSS).
  • Collaboration technique : Travailler avec les équipes Production, Ingénierie et Planification à La Prairie ainsi qu'avec le centre de compétence R&D en France pour assurer la faisabilité et l'intégration des solutions.
  • Support aux ventes : Soutenir les équipes commerciales dans les discussions techniques avec les clients et effectuer des déplacements réguliers au Canada et aux États-Unis.


Qualifications requises
  • Diplôme universitaire en génie électrique, mécanique ou domaine connexe, ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d'expérience.
  • Expérience pertinente en ingénierie d'applications, soumissions techniques, estimation/chiffrage ou gestion d'offres, idéalement dans les équipements électriques haute tension.
  • Excellente maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit.*
  • Bonne maîtrise d'Excel, aisance avec les systèmes ERP, CRM et les outils de gestion des offres.
  • Disponibilité pour des déplacements au Canada et aux États-Unis.
