What We Are Looking ForFox Subacute at South Philadelphia is seeking highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Therapists (CRT or RRT) to join our interdisciplinary clinical team. Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and ongoing evaluations for ventilator-dependent residents
- Initiate, monitor, and adjust ventilator settings based on clinical indicators, patient response, and provider orders
- Provide tracheostomy care, airway clearance techniques, bronchial hygiene therapies, and oxygen delivery management
- Identify and respond promptly to signs of respiratory distress using sound clinical judgment
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on respiratory treatment plans and care goals
Qualifications & Requirements- Current Pennsylvania Respiratory Therapist license (CRT or RRT required)
- Proficiency in ventilator management and tracheostomy care preferred
- Ability to function effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced subacute or long-term acute care environment
- Strong critical thinking, clinical decision-making, and assessment skills
- Excellent communication, organization, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Ability to commute or relocate to Philadelphia, PA 19145 prior to start date
