Responsibilities

  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc, and Rehab units.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments and therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient responses to treatments and report changes to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices and equipment use.

Full Job Description
$10,000 Sign-on bonus for qualified external candidates with 2+ years experience in pediatrics!

Provide respiratory care to all patients in the Infant ICU, Pediatric ICU, ED, Medical, Surgical, Hem/Onc and Rehab units.

Required Education/Experience:

Associate's degree in Respiratory Care from an AMA approved school of Respiratory Care.

Required Credentials:

Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

BLS for Healthcare Providers or current PALS certification. (PALS certification required within 6 months of hire).

Preferred:

One (1) year current critical care experience-adult, pediatric or neonatal.

PALS, NRP, and/or Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty credential from the NBRC. Bachelors degree in Respiratory Care or other health related field.

Compensation Range
$43.01 - $69.61 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
