Responsibilities

  • Administer therapies and manage care for patients with respiratory abnormalities
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health management

Summary:
Under medical direction, provides treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities with the cardio-pulmonary system.

Associate's Degree
Education Note:
AA or BS degree in Respiratory Care

Licensures & Certifications:
Required:
Respiratory Care Practitioner License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
Registered Respiratory Therapist
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
Basic Life Support

Preferred:

Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Credential Note:
RRT within one year; ACLS required within 6 months; PALS and NRP are preferred.

Pay Range: $31.94 to $54.87 Based On Experience
