As an Electrical Advisor with Mister Sparky Electric, you'll play a critical role in driving sales and overseeing high-value residential electrical projects. Your knowledge will help guide the design and execution of complex installations including panel upgrades, whole-home rewires, EV charger installations, and more. In addition to providing an exceptional customer experience, you'll be a key mentor to our team of electricians-training and supporting them to meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. With a blend of technical expertise and strong sales acumen, you'll directly impact company performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales: Manage and close high-value leads provided by our service electricians, focusing on large-scale residential projects. Use Mister Sparky's proven sales process to deliver results.
- Achieve Sales Success: Exceed targets in closing percentage, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Custom Sales Approach: Develop sales strategies tailored to unique project scopes and customer preferences to improve closing rates.
Project Oversight and Management- Full-Scope Oversight: Manage electrical installations from assessment to final inspection, ensuring code compliance, safety, and quality.
- Resource Coordination: Ensure materials, permits, and equipment are secured on time for each job.
- Progress Monitoring: Perform site visits, address obstacles quickly, and uphold Mister Sparky's high project standards.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the Install Coordinator and other departments to ensure flawless project execution.
Client Engagement and Follow-Up- Ensure Satisfaction: Conduct post-job follow-ups with customers to resolve any concerns and confirm satisfaction.
- Build Loyalty: Establish long-term relationships with clients by delivering a 5-star experience.
Performance Metrics and KPIs- Consistent Excellence: Meet or exceed KPIs in close rates, average ticket size, and club membership sales.
- Protect Our Reputation: Maintain and build on our outstanding customer service reputation.
Additional Duties- Perform other tasks as needed to support business operations and customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications- Experience: 5-6 years in residential electrical service and repair, with knowledge of code, safety, and installation procedures.
- Leadership: Experience in mentoring or managing teams in a field-based service or sales capacity.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with electrical troubleshooting tools and systems, including panels, breakers, surge protectors, and smart home integration.
- Sales-Focused: Demonstrated success in selling residential projects and presenting solutions to homeowners.
- CRM Systems: Experience with ServiceTitan or a similar CRM is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Outstanding communication, listening, and interpersonal abilities.
- Organized and Efficient: Skilled at managing multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Regulatory Awareness: Deep understanding of electrical codes, regulations, and permitting.
- Problem Solver: Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making skills.
Physical Demands- Must be able to drive and travel to customer sites.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, climb, stand, crawl, and lift up to 90 pounds.
- Comfortable working in all weather and site conditions.
