Summary: The Area Reservations Manager leads the Reservations function and supports Revenue performance by controlling room inventory and distribution strategy for the Grand Hyatt Seattle, Hyatt Regency Seattle, and Hyatt at Olive 8. This hands-on leader coordinates the Group reservations and Sales process, monitors group pickup and partners with Revenue Management and Events to maximize occupancy and revenue. The role also oversees Reservations standards, system accuracy, and the training and development of Reservations colleagues and all related Reservation responsibilities to deliver a responsive, reliable guest experience.

Qualifications: - A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- Must have previous experience with forecasting and revenue management.
- Must have extensive experience with customer service.
- 2+ years Hotel Reservations experience preferred
- Knowledge of Hyatt's reservation systems and procedures preferred
