Full Job Description
A research scientist position in Hematology and Cancer Biology Research is available in the laboratory of Dr. Wei Du (https://profiles.dom.pitt.edu/hemaonc/faculty_info.aspx/Du7249) at the University of Pittsburgh UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Projects are in the areas of molecular analysis of normal and abnormal hematopoiesis, stem cell biology & aging and DNA damage repair and are executed through multi-disciplinary collaborations. The Du lab is seeking competitive candidates who has a PhD and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Experience in hematology and cancer biology is highly desirable. Excellent skills in Flow cytometry, animal handling, immunofluorescence staining, and basic molecular biology are required.
