Job Summary

Support for NISAR and SDC programs.
Essential Job Duties
  • Work with Prof. Elachi on the strategy to execute the activity and on defining future activities.
  • Work with Prof. Elachi and his postdoc to analyze NISAR radar data.
  • Participate in the writing and publication of results in open literature.
  • Calibrate NISAR images and register them to relevant images from other international satellite images.
  • Support SDC mission studies, documentation, and reports.
  • Maintain database of commercial needs for SDC capabilities.
  • Support NISAR Project Science Team.
Basic Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in physics, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with NISAR.
  • Experience in space mission data analysis and significant publication record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 20 years' experience in aerospace mission design and/or operations.
