Job Description:

The Research Partnerships Manager role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with pharmaceutical partners to drive clinical trial growth and performance. The Research Partnerships Manager role ensures successful execution of oncology trials through internal and external cross-functional collaboration. The position combines clinical research knowledge, relationship management, and operational coordination to optimize enrollment, enhance partner satisfaction, and expand long-term strategic alliances.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and key escalation pathway for OneR's strategic pharma partners to problem solve across all areas of a trial life cycle (feasibility, study start-up, enrollment and close out)
  • Regularly meet and communicate with OneR's pharma partners to coordinate across multiple studies within their portfolio
  • Educate pharma sponsors about OneR sites and network-level operational processes and services
  • Educate internal OneR teams around our strategic pharma partners' processes and preferred ways of collaborating
  • Collaborate closely with OneR colleagues across functional teams and our network sites to provide high-quality services
  • Track, present, and work to improve upon key metrics related to OneR's strategic pharma partners such as start-up timelines, enrollment, and data entry timelines
  • Anticipate sponsor needs and ways that OneR can support those needs such as strengthening our partnership with the use of master CTAs and budget rate cards
  • Help to maintain collateral about OneR to support education of pharma partners
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within OneR
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.


Required or Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in clinical research, ideally with oncology clinical trials experience with community oncology or site management organization experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree (e.g., Master's, RN, NP) preferred or commensurate experience.


Essential Competencies:
  • Deep knowledge of operational aspects of oncology research required with community oncology or site management organization experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills such as managing escalations effectively.
  • High emotional intelligence in navigating internal and external stakeholders including the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Expert communication and interpersonal skills, including public speaking.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to deliver on key initiatives.
  • Ability to adapt to new and changing situations while still maintaining high performance.
