Position Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Research Data Analyst to support pharmacoepidemiologic research focused on advancing drug safety and public health. The position offers the opportunity to work with large healthcare datasets and apply advanced analytical methods to generate real-world evidence that informs medication safety, regulatory decision-making, and healthcare policy.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis and programming for research. (Required)
  • Experience in data management, cleaning, and linkage of large healthcare datasets (experience working with administrative healthcare claims data (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance datasets) i (Required)
  • Fluency in data management and statistical programming languages (SAS, SQL, R, STATA, or Python) (Required)
  • Solid understanding of pharmacoepidemiologic study designs and causal inference methods for observational data analysis (Required)
  • Familiarity with drug coding systems (NDC, ATC), diagnosis and procedure codes (ICD, CPT). (Required)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting and collaboration. (Required)
  • High motivation and ability to multitask and work independently (Required)

Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal Affiliations

  • Master's Degree (PhD preferred) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Bioinformatics, Epidemiology, or related field (Preferred)
