Full Job Description
In this role, you will partner with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, students, and other research professionals to design research studies, analyze data, interpret findings, and support the publication of meaningful research. You'll work across a diverse range of healthcare research areas, including clinical, bioinformatics, epidemiological, and laboratory research.
What You'll Do
  • Lead biostatistical services for the Parkview Research Center.
  • Serve as a statistical consultant to Parkview Health researchers and external research partners as requested.
  • Provide guidance on research design, methodology, data management, and statistical analysis.
  • Manipulate and analyze research data in collaboration with investigators.
  • Evaluate and design research protocols and projects to maximize their impact and effectiveness.
  • Support grant proposals and the publication of research findings.
  • Communicate statistical methods and analytical results effectively through peer-reviewed publications.
  • Review student research methodology and study design.
  • Support the development and application of statistical techniques across the research enterprise.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for new and strengthened research partnerships.
  • Engage with the broader Parkview Health research community to support the design, conduct, and analysis of research protocols.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of clinical and administrative systems that improve research efficiency and clinical safety.
  • Promote research throughout Parkview Health and build strong relationships with providers, researchers, staff, and system partners.
  • Establish priorities and manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Ensure research activities align with Parkview Health standards, corporate compliance, risk management, and safety requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, collaboration, and service excellence.

Education
  • Master's degree required; PhD preferred.
Experience

  • Ability to apply statistical expertise to research and data analysis problems spanning diverse areas of healthcare.
Technical Skills
  • Strong computer skills and demonstrated proficiency with common statistical and research platforms, including:
