The Opportunity:
CACI has an urgent and exciting opportunity available for a Research and Experimentation Planner to be located in Fort Bragg, NC.
As a CACI Special Operations Forces Emerging Threats, Operations, and Planning Support Research and Experimentation Planner, you will support the US Army North/US Army Western Hemisphere Command (ARNORTH/USAWHC) G5 Future of Homeland Defense (FHD) Project in solving future homeland and hemispheric defense problems that may face the nation out to the year 2040. ARNORTH/USAWHC requires subject matter expertise on an iterative basis to provide all source intelligence, analytical, and assessment tools plus experience with training and exercise planning to support the FHD Project. This initiative requires a special focus on emerging technology and enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) that create unique defense challenges for the US Army in the Western Hemisphere. The project incorporates inputs and collaborative efforts from ARNORTH/USAWHC staff, US Special Operations Command – North (SOCNORTH), United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM), US Army Transformation and Training Command (T2COM), Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), Department of War (DoW) personnel, the Intelligence Community, and subject matter experts (SME) from academia and private industry.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the policy planning, research, and development of organizational initiatives according to departmental plans and Government policies.
Responsible for creating a framework that shows best practices for research and experimentation planning.
Responsible for the development of concept(s) with detailed narratives, graphics, resource allocations, timelines as well as the scheduling critical concept milestones.
Responsible for the analysis and assessment of potential risks and the development of strategies to mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
Required:
Must have a current Secret clearance and eligible for TS/SCI.
Minimum of bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant work experience.
Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of portals and other real or near real time knowledge management systems.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
strong attention to detail.
Desired:
Experience supporting the US Army or the Department of War experimentation requirements.
Must be able to work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$108,900 - $239,500
