Reporting Analyst (ServiceNow)

Job Level: W2T Consultant

Job Location: Hybrid/Onsite Tuesday to Thursday in West Loop, Chicago, IL

The Reporting Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing reporting solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep experience with reporting tools, and hands-on expertise with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics. The ideal candidate brings 3-6 years of reporting or data analysis experience, including 2+ years working with ServiceNow.

In this role, you will:
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and scorecards within ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting modules.
  • Analyze data trends, KPIs, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Partner with ITSM, business operations, and ServiceNow platform teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs.
  • Create documentation for reporting processes, data definitions, and governance standards.
  • Support ad-hoc reporting requests and provide guidance on data interpretation.
  • Monitor ServiceNow data quality and collaborate with process owners to resolve discrepancies.
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline reporting workflows to improve efficiency.
  • Participate in ServiceNow enhancement cycles, including testing and validation of reporting changes.


Who You Are:
  • 3-6 years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or business intelligence.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including reporting, dashboards, and performance analytics.
  • Strong proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
  • Solid understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request) and how they translate into reporting metrics.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience with SQL or data querying techniques is a plus.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
