Summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Reporting Analyst to develop reporting and analytics solutions that help leaders understand performance, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.

In this role, you will partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define reporting needs, develop dashboards, analyze complex data, and translate findings into actionable insights. You will also help improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytics infrastructure while ensuring deliverables align with client and contractual requirements.

This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in California.

Your role in our mission

  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define key performance metrics, gather reporting requirements, and develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, data pipelines, and analytics infrastructure while identifying opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting capabilities.
  • Analyze complex data sets using SQL and other analytical tools, translating performance trends into clear insights, recommendations, risks, and opportunities for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Lead reporting and analytics projects from requirements through implementation, ensuring deliverables align with contractual requirements, SLAs, performance expectations, and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to leadership by identifying data-driven improvements and supporting operational, strategic, and transformational initiatives.


What we're looking for

  • Must currently reside in California.
  • 2+ years of experience in reporting, data analytics, business intelligence, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Experience querying and analyzing large and diverse data sets using SQL or similar data technologies.
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with Python and/or other data scripting languages.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, investigate issues, and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage priorities and work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.


Preferred qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience with SQL and experience with process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches.
  • Experience working within AWS, Azure, or another cloud environment, along with knowledge of data governance and data quality management concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI or Power Automate.
  • Experience supporting contracts or client-based services involving SLAs, performance metrics, contractual requirements, or regulatory requirements.
  • Experience leading reporting or analytics projects, partnering with senior leadership, and managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as healthcare, government, or the public sector

The pay range for this position is $74,300 - $106,100 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
