Job Title: Settlements/ Repo Operations Vice President

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $160K and $180K/year * (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Role Description:
  • Please note this role starts at 7AM
  • Support multiple funding desks consisting of over 10 traders across multiple fixed income security products while playing a daily role in position management, pricing and funding across multiple entities in the most efficient, compliant and cost-effective manner.
  • Assist various funding desks in trade processing and inter-life functions such as reprices, re-rates, rolls, substitution, trade reconciliation
  • Provide input in developing new trading strategies and operational flows
  • Support a multitude of finance types such as repo, tri-party, sec lending, buy-sell backs, structured repo settling via Fed, DTC, Euro-Clear and Local markets
  • Cultivate relationships with the business to maximize funding potential, compliance and communication.
  • Assist with identifying and implementing areas for improvement within existing operational and technical processes.
  • Resolve issues and minimize client impact.
  • Perform activities related to upgrades of existing services
  • Participate in updating and maintaining procedure documentation


Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
  • 7+ years of experience in Repo Operations at a broker dealer is required
  • 3+ years management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with fixed income products a must
  • Self-motivated, customer focused, innovative and analytical
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and handle high pressure situations
  • Knowledge of APEX(Martini), IMPACT(BR), Loanet, BONY BDC, DTCC, FICC (RTTM/GCF & DVP) is preferred
  • ECN Products: Broker Tec or Trade Web, is preferred

* base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
