Responsibilities

  • Perform bodywork tasks including filling, shaping, sanding, priming, and painting
  • Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts such as panels and bumpers
  • Align and fit vehicle components to original specifications
  • Inspect vehicles for additional damage
  • Assess frame measurements with Car-O-Liner system
  • Clamp and pull for mash and sway damage
  • Section-in frame rails, quarter panels, rockers, and pillars
  • Use tools like spot welders and MIG welders while maintaining a clean workspace

Full Job Description
Position: Repair Technician
Location: London Ontario
Classification: Full-time, Immediate hire
Salary: $100,000-$160,000

Your area of focus.

As an Repair Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge, automotive repair skills, and the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.

What drives your day-to-day?
  • Perform bodywork tasks, applying filler, shaping, forming, sanding, priming, and painting
  • Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including body panels, fenders, doors, and bumpers
  • Align and fit vehicle components to the original pre-condition
  • Inspect vehicles for additional damage
  • Assess Frame with Car-O-Liner measurement system
  • Clamp down and pull for mash and sway
  • Section-in frame rails, quarter panels, rockers, pillars
  • Use spot welder, miracle dent puller, mig welder
  • Attention to detail, panel dry fit, smooth/clean repair
  • Ability to work independently and as part of our team
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines


What are the must-haves...
  • Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
  • Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes
  • Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
  • I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
  • 2-3-years of Autobody Technician experience
  • Welding knowledge and training
  • Able to work in face paced environment and able to do all types of repairs
