  • Truck and Coach (310T) and/or Heavy Equipment (421A) Technician license required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Valid driver's license required; DZ classification preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment in the field.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to ensure equipment safety and functionality.
  • Document repair processes and maintain accurate service records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during on-site visits.

Job Description
MasterTech is on the search for an experienced Field Service Mechanic in the Markham, ON area.

The successful Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of client heavy equipment (construction, forestry, mining, landscaping, etc.). Field service truck is included.

Compensation:

  • $38.00 - $57.00/hour.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
  • 3 weeks paid vacation to start.
  • Company vehicle and gas card provided.
  • RRSP match.


Shift:

  • Days, 7AM start time (Monday to Friday). Overtime available.

Key Qualifications:

  • Truck and Coach (310T) and/or Heavy Equipment (421A) Technician license.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Owns a set of tools.
  • Valid driver's license, DZ preferred not required.
