- Process accounts payable and receivable, including preparing invoices, managing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Conduct regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and present key financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Manage expense claims and company credit card reconciliations.
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications- Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
- A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and best accounting practices.
- Exceptional numerical skills and an impeccable eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- The ability to work independently and maintain high standards of performance in a remote environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
