Full Job Description
Job Title:Remote Bookkeeper
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Salary: $85,000 - $134,000 USD per annum

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and financial records for the company.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including preparing invoices, managing payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
  • Conduct regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and present key financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage expense claims and company credit card reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes and systems.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent platforms.
  • A strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and best accounting practices.
  • Exceptional numerical skills and an impeccable eye for detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
