Position Summary:
The Remarketing Analyst II serves as an independent pricing oversight and execution partner, owning day-to-day pricing execution, exception management, and manual pricing interventions. The role reviews and challenges model-generated pricing outputs to ensure disciplined execution aligned with business intent, market realities, and risk standards. The role does not develop pricing models but maintains authority to intervene, override with guardrails, or escalate pricing outcomes as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute vehicle pricing across upstream and midstream channels in accordance with approved pricing logic, inputs, and guardrails.
• Apply informed judgment to pricing decisions by evaluating vehicle attributes, market conditions, and portfolio performance.
• Perform independent review of model-generated pricing outputs, identifying anomalies or misalignment with business intent or market realities.
• Implement and document manual pricing overrides and exception actions within established governance standards.
• Monitor pricing outcomes across channels, including conversion rates, recovery performance, and no-sale drivers.
• Analyze post-execution results to identify trends, gaps, or unintended pricing impacts, making recommendations related to incentives, fees, or pricing tactics.
• Support testing initiatives by evaluating post-deployment performance of pricing changes, variables, or program updates.
• Provide pricing guidance for physical auction strategies informed by upstream performance and market dynamics.
• Recommend cycle-time and process improvements that enhance efficiency while maintaining pricing quality and governance standards.
• Escalate pricing issues, trends, or risks as appropriate to Decision Engine, Risk, and Remarketing stakeholders, including Used Car and Pricing Committees.
Qualifications and Competencies Required
Required Experience:
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in high-volume vehicle pricing, remarketing, or portfolio optimization within an automotive finance or captive environment.
• Demonstrated experience applying market data to pricing decisions with measurable conversion or recovery impact.
• Experience supporting pricing models, testing frameworks, or decision engines.
• Strong ability to translate analytics into pricing actions and executive-level insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Analytics, or related field
Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.
Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI
Qualifications Preferred:
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in automotive captive environment.

Work Schedule
This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday and occasional weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
