About the Role:As a CBRE Reliability Technician, you will support site reliability through Predictive Maintenance (PdM) training, condition-monitoring dashboard review, and technical support. A key focus of this role is helping site teams understand PdM technologies, identify equipment concerns, and improve maintenance practices through hands-on education and coaching.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services function and supports reliability and maintenance activities across assigned facilities. This role requires up to 75% travel to support site training, PdM activities, and reliability initiatives.
What You'll Do:- Support and deliver hands-on PdM training and education to site maintenance teams.
- Monitor reliability and condition-monitoring dashboards to identify trends, alerts, and potential equipment concerns.
- Support site teams with PdM technologies, tools, inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
- Provide technical coaching and education to improve technician knowledge of condition-based and predictive maintenance practices.
- Assist with PdM activities such as vibration monitoring, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and other condition-monitoring technologies.
- Help sites understand PdM findings and support appropriate maintenance follow-up.
- Maintain accurate training, PdM, and reliability documentation.
- Partner with site teams, and technical training teams to identify knowledge gaps and improve technician capability.
- Follow established reliability, maintenance, safety, and compliance procedures.
- No formal supervisory responsibilities.
What You'll Need:- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant technical, maintenance, or reliability experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Basic understanding of maintenance, equipment reliability, or Predictive Maintenance (PdM) practices.
- Ability and willingness to learn and provide technical training and hands-on coaching.
- Ability to review dashboards, identify basic trends, and communicate findings to site teams.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 75%, including travel to supported sites as required for PdM training, technical support, and reliability initiatives.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Reliability Technician position is $85,000 annually [or $40.86 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Reliability Technician position is $100,000 annually [or $48.07 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
