About the Role:As a Reliability Engineer, you will serve as the strategic architect of asset performance at our Curtis Bay facility. This role goes beyond simple maintenance; you will be the primary driver of continuous improvement, utilizing data-driven methodologies to eliminate equipment failures and optimize lifecycle costs. By conducting deep-dive Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and developing proactive asset care plans, you will transform "bad actor" equipment into reliable assets, ensuring the long-term stability and safety of our chemical manufacturing operations.
Here's a glimpse into your day to day:- Conducts Critical Equipment Analysis
- Conducts Equipment Criticality Assessments
- Manages critical equipment lists
- Creates asset care plans for critical assets
- Tracks and analyzes reliability data on critical equipment
- Analyze bad actors and develop improvement plans through data driven methodologies
- Develop Maintenance Strategies by equipment types
- Supports and facilitates RCA's
- Updates Engineering Drawings and Documents to reflect field conditions
- Supports area Maintenance Engineer
- Identifies and scope's maintenance/reliability improvement projects
- Assists with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
- Supports Purchasing/Goods Receipts/New Vendors/Requisitions
- Participates in safety programs and initiatives
- Participates in Process Hazard Analysis (PHAs) including PSSRs, and Management of Change (MOCs)
You'll be a perfect fit if you have:- 5+ Years of relevant experience
- BS in Engineering discipline (Mechanical Engineer highly preferred)
- Industrial manufacturing experience in processes such as Chemical, Paper, Metals, Refinery, Pharmaceutical
- Experience in CMMS maintenance system (SAP a plus)
Compensation and Benefits:- Pay: $100,000-135,000 annually (depending on shift)
- Eligible for overtime pay
