As a Reliability Engineer, you'll be the driving force behind our mill's operational excellence. You are responsible for managing the preventative and predictive maintenance programs to maximize the availability and reliability of the mill's assets while producing products in the most cost-effective manner. What You Can Expect
• Work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to identify root causes and designing out the possibility of re-occurrence that affect the lines Overall Equipment Efficiencies
• Identify opportunities and provide cost-effective solutions to reliability as it relates to paper machine and converting equipment
• Develop appropriate maintenance/reliability procedures for assets based on failure consequences and conduct failure analysis to determine root cause
• Be responsible for the management of the lubrication (including oil sample analysis) and the vibration monitoring program and/or other programs for the converting assets, including the auditing of their effectiveness
• Be accountable for the inspection and testing frequencies to monitor equipment and implement preventive/predictive maintenance techniques
• Provide support for the upgrading of Maintenance Technicians skills regarding preventative/predictive techniques
• Support equipment installation and start-up activities, providing Engineering leadership to develop a comprehensive database within SAP (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Review equipment and process to identify required spare parts, coordinate ordering with maintenance/stores to minimize downtime, and manage spare parts inventories
What We Expect
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years' work experience in technical and industrial manufacturing/reliability engineering assignments; or 1-2 years' work experience in conjunction with formal Reliability Training/Education
• Working knowledge of preventative maintenance and reliability improvement programs, including root cause failure analysis
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical drive systems, general machine design, engineering calculations, packaging equipment and manufacturing support equipment
• Ability to read and understand machine drawings and/or schematic diagrams
