Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Dismantle, Inspection, and Failure Analysis (DIFA) on returned or failed equipment and components.
  • Identify failure modes, determine root causes, and document findings in detailed technical reports.
  • Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and field service teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Analyze reliability and performance data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment uptime, reliability, and product quality.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, analyses, and corrective action recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and refining failure analysis procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, engineering practices, and applicable industry requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in reliability engineering, failure analysis, root cause investigation, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of failure analysis methodologies, reliability principles, and problem-solving tools.
  • Strong analytical, technical writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities.
