QualityAI is seeking a Release Operations Engineer for an onsite opportunity with a major technology client in Mountain View or San Bruno, CA
Support daily release operations, build health monitoring, QA coordination, and release execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor Rapid release workflows and build status.
- Identify Goldeneye release URLs and manage weekly QA pushes.
- Coordinate Cherry-Picks (CPs), release branching, and rollback activities.
- Perform Beam Release On-Duty responsibilities.
- Monitor nightly Last Known Good (LKG) test results using Test Fusion.
- Investigate failed builds, identify culprit CLs, and initiate rollbacks or file bugs in Buganizer.
- Prepare and present LKG and weekly release metrics for release meetings.
- Partner with QA to track testing progress and release readiness.
- Triage and track release-blocking bugs through resolution.
- Provide release status, build health, and blocker updates to TPMs and engineering leadership.
Qualifications:- 1+ year of release management experience.
- Background in release engineering, build management, or technical operations.
- Experience with release branching, cherry-picking, CL rollbacks, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong attention to detail, SOP compliance, and quality control.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:- Google experience.
- Familiarity with Rapid, Buganizer, Test Fusion, and related release infrastructure tools.

- Competitive Base Salary of $105,000 to $115,000 USD yearly.
