Full Job Description
Location: Remote | CanadaType: Full time | Permanent Team: Managed Services YOUR IMPACT As a Release Manager, you will serve as the central coordination point between technical teams, managed services, client stakeholders, and delivery teams to ensure predictable, compliant, and disruption-free releases. You will be responsible for the entire release lifecycle, from planning through post-deployment validation, while ensuring adherence to governance processes, change management practices, and quality standards. Your success will be measured by the quality of deployments, the reduction of operational risks, adherence to governance processes, and the satisfaction of both clients and the teams involved. YOUR TEAM You will join the Managed Services team and collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA Analysts, Project Managers, Infrastructure Teams, and Clients. Together, you will ensure the smooth planning and execution of releases across complex, high-visibility environments. WHAT TO EXPECT Your day to day will look like this:

  • Manage and maintain release schedules for assigned clients.
  • Plan deployment windows, coordinate resources, and manage dependencies across teams.
  • Facilitate release readiness meetings and lead Go/No-Go decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with governance processes and verify that all required approvals, documentation, validations, and testing are completed prior to each environment promotion.
  • Coordinate change management activities and participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) reviews.
  • Oversee production deployments and coordinate real-time implementation activities.
  • Prepare and distribute communications before, during, and after deployments.
  • Ensure post-deployment validations are completed and coordinate review and continuous improvement activities.
  • Identify, manage, and escalate release-related risks.
  • Produce performance metrics, governance reports, and process improvement recommendations.

  • Bilingual proficiency required (French and English, spoken and written)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Release Management, Change Management, IT Operations, Service Management, or Project/Program Coordination.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNow ITSM, specifically in processes related to Change Management, Release Management, and IT Service Management.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating complex releases involving multiple teams and environments.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL best practices, the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and deployment governance frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
Assets
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience working in a Managed Services environment.
