Location: Toronto, Canada (Bay Street) - Hybrid

In this position, you'll be based in our Bay Street office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. Find out more about our flexible work culture at computershare.com/flex. Your working hours will be 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with flexible hours typically from 8:30am to 5:00pm. This is a replacement position for our team.

Computershare Investor Services is the division within Computershare responsible for providing Transfer Agent Services to Corporate clients as well as their shareholders.

The Relationship Manager role operates within this division by managing an assigned book of business.

The Relationship Manager works collaboratively across the organization to deliver comprehensive product solutions that meet client needs.

A role you will love

As a Relationship Manager, you will be entrusted with managing a diverse portfolio of clients, including publicly traded and private companies. Your clients will span both Canadian and cross-border listings, offering you a dynamic and exciting environment to work in.

The Relationship Manager also coordinates all major client activities and services by engaging with the client, with Computershare operational units and the entire organization as needed. In collaboration with the Sales team, the Relationship Manager coordinates cross sells or up sells by introducing clients to additional Computershare products and services

Other duties will include:
  • Build and manage strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor, addressing client needs, supporting strategic planning, conducting business reviews, and acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Deliver excellent client service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely communication and follow-up. Maintain a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and perform in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing competing priorities and deliver quality results.
  • Provide strategic guidance by maintaining knowledge of products, services, industry trends, and regulatory changes, and sharing relevant updates with clients.
  • Ensure operational and financial excellence by maintaining accurate records, monitoring revenue, supporting invoicing and collections, managing risk, participating in training, and completing assigned responsibilities.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities and drive business growth by collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and operational teams on contract renewals, service improvements, account planning, product opportunities, and client feedback initiatives.
  • Identify up-sell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client needs, proactively recommending solutions and working with internal teams to grow existing client relationships and drive revenue growth
  • Build and leverage professional networks by developing strong relationships and attending industry events to enhance Computershare's market presence.

What will you bring to the role

Essential:

Requires a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree.

Relationship/Account/Project Management.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to read and interpret complex legal documents.

Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and applications.

Effective organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.

Solid PC skills including proficiency with MS Excel and Access.

Ability to work in high pressure and time sensitive environment.

Customer service focus with experience in actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs and recommending solutions.

Compensation. The typical pay range for this position is $72,750k - $95k/yr. This salary is specific to Toronto and may not be applicable in other locations.
