Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic Relationship Management Senior Consultant who will deliver high-level customer service to clients of the firm. The position is located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate will join an established wealth management advisory team in providing independent advice and customized service to clients. A competitive salary is offered for this role as well as expanding responsibilities with a rapidly growing firm. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities

  • Prepare for client meetings with Senior Advisors by gathering and analyzing client information, coordinating with internal subject matter experts, and developing financial planning recommendations, investment updates, and client presentation materials tailored to clients' needs and objectives
  • Coordinate and implement approved planning and investment-related recommendations, including portfolio changes, retirement distribution strategies, charitable gifting initiatives, estate planning coordination, insurance reviews, and other financial planning actions, working closely with clients and internal specialists as needed
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, proactively addressing planning-related questions, coordinating follow-up activities, and ensuring timely completion of client requests


  • Support the preparation and review of tax returns, coordinate estimated tax payments, and provide tax information to outside accountants. Serve as a liaison for the team with other CAPTRUST departments and maintaining rapport with such to ensure high levels of communication, professionalism, and working team environment


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree


Desired Qualifications/Skills:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • CPA, CFP or CFP track preferred
  • Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to analyze client financial situations, evaluate planning opportunities, and present clear, actionable recommendations to Senior Advisors and clients across retirement, tax, estate, insurance, and wealth planning disciplines. Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to communicate information to a financially sophisticated audience
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating professionalism, responsiveness, and a client-first approach
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when addressing complex planning issues and identifying appropriate solutions
  • Ability to manage planning engagements from recommendation through implementation, coordinating with clients, advisors, and external professionals as needed
  • Prioritization skills, multi-task skills, able to manage many time-sensitive tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to delegate tasks and projects to others within the organization, to follow up as appropriate, and to work in a team environment

Compensation range (depending on location and experience): $90,000-$120,000
