Job DescriptionProvides the highest quality age-appropriate care for patients newborn to 20 years of age within the scope of practice and established standards for clinical practice. Functions effectively as a member of the rehabilitation team. Supports the mission of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Provides clinical supervision and assumes operational duties of department as assigned. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
Experience- 2 years of clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications- 2 years of experience in supervisory leadership
- 2 years of experience in pediatrics with a wide range of populations
Education- Graduate from accredited school with degree in Communication Disorders, Audiology, Occupational Therapy, or Physical Therapy
Certification Summary- Certified/licensed in rehabilitation-related professional area
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Knowledge of pediatric theory and practice
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability in administrative functions
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication of information
- Positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in an interdisciplinary environment
- Must be able to successfully pass the Basic Windows Skill Assessment at 80% or higher within 30 days of employment

Development (Fostering Clinical Knowledge)- Maintains own professional development and participates in educational process related to delivery of healthcare.
- Fosters professional development of direct reports via constructive performance feedback, input, and coaching.
- Facilitates in-services, staff meetings, and clinical guidance to staff.
