At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta's Regulatory Affairs Team is seeking a Regulatory Manager in Greensboro, NC, USA. This role will support the U.S. regulatory strategy and execution to secure and maintain pesticide registrations and compliant product labels at the federal and state level. Serves as the primary liaison to EPA and state regulators while defending and sustaining existing registrations across the product lifecycle.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive high quality, timely and accurate submissions to regulatory authorities
  • Lead registration processes for new products and uses, ensuring labels meet both regulatory requirements and business needs
  • Maintain existing active ingredient and product registrations through effective regulatory processes
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with regulators and industry stakeholders
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to implement regulatory strategies
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables
  • Provide timely and high-quality regulatory input to regional and global project teams
  • Collaborate effectively with other portfolio team members


Qualifications

Required:
  • Minimum M.S degree in science related field, or B.S with 5+ years of experience in crop protection or regulatory related field
  • Working knowledge of U.S pesticide regulations and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with regulatory authorities
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Project leadership skills to manage competing priorities, deliver under challenging timelines, and adjust strategies to adapt to business needs and regulatory challenges
  • Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity and resolve business-critical issues in a collaborative manner
  • Ability to understand, synthesize and clearly communicate regulatory strategies and technical information
