Position Summary:

The Regulatory Compliance and Sustainability Program Manager is responsible for leading global product environmental compliance and sustainability programs across semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role ensures products, materials, chemicals, and manufacturing processes comply with environmental regulations and customer requirements while supporting sustainable product stewardship initiatives. The position works cross-functionally with supply chain, engineering, EHS, and quality to manage chemical and regulatory risks across products and processes.

Salary range: $135K-$152K

Job Function:
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards, keeping the organization compliant with both current and emerging requirements.
  • Lead compliance programs for RoHS, REACH, PFAS, California Proposition 65, TSCA, SCIP, WEEE, Conflict Minerals, and emerging regulations. Monitor global regulatory developments and assess business impacts.
  • Ensure products comply with environmental and chemical regulations before market release.
  • Manage substance compliance for raw materials, chemicals, consumables, packaging, and finished products.
  • Evaluate exemptions, restrictions, and sunset dates; develop mitigation strategies.
    Lead and mentor a team of compliance professionals.
  • Engage suppliers for material declarations and compliance documentation.
    Support customer audits, regulatory inquiries, and sustainability assessments.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives including such as circular economy, waste reduction, and product stewardship.
    Establish internal controls, audits, and compliance governance processes.
  • Lead compliance programs for RoHS (EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances) across products and components
  • Develop and maintain a global restricted substances list (RSL) and supplier compliance program
  • Lead material declaration programs (IPC-1752A, BOM-level FMDs)
  • Ensure compliance with customer-specific environmental requirements (Sony Green, Apple, Intel, automotive OEMs)
  • Partner with procurement to ensure supplier chemical disclosures and compliance
  • Collect, analyze, and report sustainability metrics to senior management, supporting informed decision-making and transparency

  • Ability to interpret complex global regulations and translate into business requirements
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and supplier engagement
  • Data analysis and reporting skills
