1900-0730 Weekend Program - Friday, Saturday, Sunday schedule with holidays per department rotation standard

Pay Range:
$38.20 - $57.30

Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Surg 3

Where You Will Work:

Join our 18-bed Med/Surg 3 unit where you will care for a vast variety of medical and post-operative patients with an emphasis on medical care. Medical care includes, but is not limited to, the care of the cardiac, stroke, renal, oncological, gastroenteric, and urological patient. Medical care may also include management of acute/chronic issues. Med/Surg 3 at Aurora Medical Center Summit offers a collaborative and supportive team setting and exceptional learning environment for both newly licensed and experienced RNs.

We're Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provide Card/Certificate required within 6 months of hire


What You'll Do:
  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
