How you'll make an impact in this role- Lead and inspire your care team by directing daily clinical activities and coordinating interdisciplinary staff to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Optimize daily shift operations by assessing real-time patient needs and strategically distributing assignments so every patient receives safe, population-appropriate care.
- Empower staff through mindful delegation, assigning clinical duties to team members based on their unique skill sets and in strict alignment with the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Drive clinical excellence and growth by providing immediate, constructive coaching to frontline staff, tracking performance trends, and collaborating with leadership on team development or corrective actions.
- Shape the future of your unit by actively participating in interviews and providing strategic hiring recommendations to welcome top-talent professionals to the shift.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Education & Experience: Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) accompanied by a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in multi-specialty care.
- Clinical & Leadership Expertise: Prior experience in an outpatient oncology infusion setting is required, alongside a proven track record in a leadership capacity (e.g., charge nurse or preceptor).
